Welcome professional

Upopolis offers a secure online community that connects youth 13-23 with others who are going through stressful life events. Upopolis programming aims to reduce social isolation while educating and empowering youth to actively manage and cope with their diagnosis, condition, or situation (grief, ill parent, or sibling).

Upopolis offers ongoing psychosocial care beyond a youth’s local community and access to a team of child life specialists who provide support before, during, and after treatment or other programs.

Youth join the Upopolis community through a referral from a professional (teacher, health care worker, etc.) or by completing the form to sign up for a Common Grounds(link) where a member of the Upopolis team can help them to get connected and they can get a sneak peek into the platform and programming. There are three different types of Common Grounds events:

  • A one-hour session for youth who want to learn more about Upopolis and have our team help them get signed up.
  • Two one-hour sessions that allow youth to learn more about Upopolis, meet the team, and get a chance to experience some unique therapeutic programming while meeting other youth with their specific diagnoses or lived experiences. At the end of the session, the Upopolis team member will help the youth get signed up for Upopolis.
  • Six one-hour sessions facilitated by a Upopolis team member (CCLS) and a young adult with lived experience for youth with a specific diagnosis, condition, or lived experience. These peer support sessions offer youth access to weekly programming that supports …..
